Your First Visit

Thank you for your interest in North Scottsdale Endodontics, a dental practice dedicated to endodontic care (Root Canal Therapy). Dr. McClammy is a specialty member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Appointment

Your initial appointment will include a thorough evaluation explaining your diagnosis and subsequent treatment option. Often, root canal treatment can be done during this initial appointment. Complex or surgical cases may require additional appointments.

 Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

• Your referral slip and any X-rays if applicable
• A list of medications you are presently taking
• Dental insurance card

 IMPORTANT: A parent or legal guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 years of age.

 If you have a medical condition that may be of concern, please alert us prior to root canal treatment or surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, latex allergy, prophylactic need for antibiotics as per your primary health practitioner, etc.).

DIGITAL IMAGES As part of your treatment, we will take all necessary digital images (x-rays). We use state of the art digital equipment WHICH reduces your your exposure to radiation by as much as 90%.

Scheduling

Our office is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 am until 5:00 pm. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have an emergency, every attempt will be made to take care of you as soon as possible.

We respect the value of your time and endeavor to be punctual, however unscheduled emergencies may occasionally cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Please call 480-731-(ENDO) 3636 with questions or to schedule an appointment.

Financial Policy

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. A financial ESTIMATE will be discussed with you prior to your treatment. For your convenience we accept checks, Visa and Mastercard for payment. We also accept Care Credit as a payment option. Care Credit is a medical/dental finance company and can be utilized at various facilities.  If you have insurance, your claim will be submitted once your treatment has been completed. Most insurance companies respond within four to six weeks. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.
